PATIENT ADVISORY COUNCIL
Connect With Others Through the Patient Advisory Council
Mohs-Facts.org strives to provide complete and unbiased information to the skin cancer community, especially to those about to have Mohs surgery. While much of the content comes from cancer information specialists and medical professionals, we rely on input from people who have experienced Mohs surgery. All visitors to the site are welcome to reach out with questions or comments. The Patient Advisory Council, though, is a more structured way to improve the site, give back to the community, and help others learn about and prepare for Mohs surgery.
The Patient Advisory Council is made up of people who had Mohs surgery and the people who supported them. Members will take part in quarterly (every 3 months) conference calls. They will get an honorarium for their participation and will be reimbursed for out-of-pocket costs related to their work on the Patient Advisory Council. Members may be asked to:
Share their experiences with Mohs surgery
Discuss proposed changes to this website
Create ideas to help people diagnosed with skin cancer
Contribute content for use on Mohs-Facts.org
